Eager to spend a couple of nights getting to know John Waters and David Lynch the goats, but don’t necessarily want to sleep in a tent while doing it? How about sleeping in a bus—in upgraded ‘Pink Flamingoes’ style?! We are thrilled to announce our recent partnership with fellow female solopreneur, Kyrie Morales, of “It’s Good to Be Outside, LLC.” Together we will be offering Kyrie’s well-appointed, beautifully decorated, and self-converted Skoolie, “Harvey,” as a short-term rental accommodation on The Little Goat Outpost property! Harvey the Skoolie can be booked directly through Hipcamp here. Be sure to READ ALL INFORMATION PRIOR TO REQUESTING TO BOOK!
Harvey has been lovingly situated at the highest point on our 2 acres at The Little Goat Outpost, commanding beautiful views of the distant mountains and the nearby crags from the plethora of original Bluebird bus windows! Inside you will find a comfortable double bed, a sofa nook, his-and-hers closets, a television with USB cable, and a functional kitchen space with sink, mini-fridge + freezer, and a 2-burner cooktop.
Harvey is powered by a rooftop solar panel and has plenty of electrical outlets for charging your devices. A provided luggable loo with pre-lined waste bags fits the bill for bathroom needs, and an outdoor shower hose is available off the side of the bus for post-hike spray-downs! Outside, we invite you to enjoy a dedicated space with small fire pit, patio table, and a direct-access walking path to the goat pen! Want to stay for a while and work remotely? We’ve got you covered with available 100 MBPS fiber optic internet!
Reminiscent of our former Scamp camper rental back in Spokane, Harvey the Skoolie is a self-clean, BYOB (Bring Your Own BEDDING!!) accommodation. Here’s what you’ll want to bring along with you to have a comfortable stay in the Harvey @ The Little Goat Outpost:
– bedding essentials: sleeping bags or sheets and blankets, pillows + pillow cases (small throw pillows are available, they are not fancy)
– towels/wash clothes/etc. if you plan to use the outdoor shower- shampoo and conditioner, if you require more than an all-purpose camp soap (please be aware of what products you use as this will run directly onto the land).
Here’s what’s provided for your use during your stay:
– TP
– 30in Smart Samsung TV + HDMI cable
– card and board games
– cookware
– dishes and silverware
– REI “luggable loo” with pee and poo bags (pre-lined with substance that degrades waste and controls odor)
– small portable weber grill (BYO GRILL SUPPLIES)
Thank you for reading about our newest way to stay with us here at The Little Goat Outpost! If you have any questions that you’d like answered prior to booking, please feel free to message Kyrie (the bus owner and remote manager) on Hipcamp or email her directly at itsgoodtobeoutside@gmail.com!
